Butter Cake




昨天从Fengying的厨房笔记找食谱,发现了Butter Cake,就决定晚上来试试看。嗯。。很好吃,甜度刚刚好,全家人都喜欢吃。今早就已吃剩四分之一了。很开心。 说真的,还蛮有成就感的。

不敢不敢,厉害还称不上,但是勇气可嘉啦!哈哈!最起码我敢尝试,因为我是初学者,所以只敢烘简单的蛋糕,其它的还得有劳Auntie Irene 教咯!

can use yellow lemon for both type?

Do you mean boil over high heat for about 10 mins then change to low heat?

600cc is how much? I don't have measuring cup.

Regarding your enquiry on the lemon drink, green lemon is preferred but u may use yellow lemon for the boiled type if u can't get green ones.

Yes, boil the lemon over high heat for about 10 min., then change to low heat.

600cc of water is equivalent to 600ml or 600g.

The 2nd method may leave the lemon skin on when boil as lemon peel contains natural lemon oil. Be sure to wash your lemon well to get rid of wax.

To help, I've already made some slight modifications to the recipe on my post.

According to AVA, you do not need to use special detergents to wash fruits & vegetables. Thorough washing with clean water is sufficient to remove dirt, bacteria and chemical residues.

Generally, a 30-sec rinse followed by a 15-min soak and a final rinse is effective in removing dirt and pesticide residues.

I make the drink and is very nice (both warm and cold are nice).

I have 1 concern and question, if boil the lemon, will the vitamins be destroyed?did Billy mention about this point?

How long can keep the drink in fridge?

Glad to know that you have made and like the 2 types of lemom drinks.

Re your concern over boiling of lemon will destroy the vitamins, I do not seem to hear Billy mentioning this point, however I believe the lemon drink should have its benefits otherwise he will not recommend the recipe to us, right?

I didn't hear about how long can the drink be kept in fridge, but I usually drink it within the day for its freshness. Some said that if keep too long the drink may turn bitter.
